CARDINAL® 300 SERIES SPINNING REELS
 Abu Garcia reels are built for life and the new Cardinal® 300 Series of spinning reels live up to that reputation and promise. Four new models are introduced to satisfy a wide range of light
action fishing situations.
The Cardinal 300 spinning reels are designed to give the angler a comfortable fishing reel with the confidence to cast long and accurately. Five bearings and a brass pinion gear provide a smooth operation that can be depended on for a lifetime of fishing. Line twists are eliminated with the oversized line roller and line tangles under the spool are no longer a problem with the aluminum skirted spool.
Instant Anti-Reverse comes in handy for positive hook sets. Changing the drag tension, even in the midst of fighting a chunky fish, is easy with the precision-click front drag.
The reversible aluminum handle is finished with a comfortable soft-touch knob. The graphite body is built tough.
Finished in a striking metallic green, the Cardinal 300 is available in four sizes. The smallest reel in the series is the Model 300U ultra-light. The gear ratio is 5.1:1 and the 6.3-ounce reel holds up to 100 yards of 4-pound test monofilament. Model 301 has the capacity to hold 110 yards of 6-pound test monofilament, weighs 7.7 ounces and has a gear ratio of 5.1:1.
Model 302 holds up to 175 yards of 6-pound test monofilament. The 302 weighs 10.2 ounces and a retrieve gear ratio of 5.1:1. The largest reel in the 300 series is the Model 303. This Cardinal workhorse, with a 5.1:1 gear ratio, weighs only 10.8 ounces but holds 180 yards of 8-pound test monofilament.
